Hi, I’m Leanne Hatten. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2011, after having a successful Division I Swimming career at the University of North Texas. I’ve been in the fitness industry ever since, working with hundreds of people of all ages and body types. Having navigated my own health and fitness journey after shifting from life as an athlete to working full time, and then having my first child in 2024, I’ve gained firsthand experience of the many changes women can go through, especially during childbearing years and life after. I understand the physical and mental transformations that occur, and I’m passionate about helping women rebuild strength effectively after those incredible but challenging years. My purpose is to assist people in finding the healthiest version of themselves, and I understand that those needs change based on the stage of life that we find ourselves in. I can guide you towards more pain free movement, effective strength building, and resilience, whatever the phase of life you find yourself in.
Here’s a bit more about my training philosophy: ...

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS TRAINING
I believe in training the body to work as a whole. It is an efficient machine of systems that work together in order to perform daily activities effectively, using minimal energy. EveryBODY is different, so the spectrum of exercises will vary based on your individual goals and current limitations. I also provide Massage Therapy as a tool for clients to help deactivate chronically tight muscles and to relieve aches and pains

CORRECTIONAL FOCUS
Everyone has imbalances whether it’s between your dominant/non-dominant sides, sitting at a desk or in a car for hours a day, or being hunched over a computer or phone for excessive amounts of time. Our bodies tend to mold themselves around the positions we find ourselves in the most often. This affects how we are comfortably positioned and how we move whether it is correct or not, which causes aches, pains, muscular imbalances, and joint deteriorations. This is NOT something we have to live with anymore. I will assess your body’s movement patterns to determine what muscles are weak and which muscles are overactive and tight, in order to design a program to correct these imbalances and have you moving more correctly and effectively. Over time, we will rebalance your body, and fully transform the way you move and feel in your own skin.

STRENGTHENING THE BODY AS A WHOLE
While we work on correcting imbalances, we will also focus on strengthening your body as a whole, using your goals as a guideline so that you feel healthier, stronger, and more balanced than you ever have before. Get ready to become the strongest and healthiest version of yourself that you might have never known was possible!
